Edit: This issue appears to have been fixed.
"Elements of quaternions" was originally published in 1866. The first volume of the second edition was published in 1899, and the second volume of the second edition was published in 1901.
This upload is marked as being published in 1866, whereas the book itself states on page 9 that it was published in 1899, and on the same page says "SECOND EDITION" and "VOLUME I."
